A Spanish school
rooted in what is essential
Words, listening, and respect for each person’s learning process—guided by a poetic, human approach to language.
Who We Are
A clear, human way to learn Spanish
How did ELEMENT come about?
ELEMENT was born from our need to understand the word as a primordial source of expression and as a possibility to be in the freedom and sensitivity that the Spanish language and poetry allow. The element is the air, the origin, the return to the beginning: the word, and through it we create, discover, we are others.
Who created ELEMENT?
Our founder Geraldine Arroyave is a poet from the city of Medellín, Colombia and she has been a Spanish teacher for over 5 years. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Humanities - Spanish Language from the University of Antioquia. Her first book of poetry is: "En la médula del silencio" (Medellín, 2023).
Mission
At ELEMENT, we teach Spanish as a foreign language through individual lessons, where learning is experienced as a journey rather than a burden. Our mission is to accompany each student in their learning process with clarity, sensitivity, closeness, and depth, integrating essential grammar with listening, culture, and spoken language. We believe in a human and refreshing approach to teaching, guided by teachers who understand language as a space for connection, expression and transformation.
Vision
By 2030, ELEMENT aims to establish itself as a Spanish school recognized for its poetic, conscious, and cultural approach, and in the long term, to become a space for literary creation and cultural experiences. For us, it is essential to continue being a Spanish school recognized for its poetic and human approach, and to always evolve with the vision that language also constitutes creation, connection and expression. Our vision is to expand into a school of poetry and culture, where Spanish is also a means to create, reflect, and inhabit the world with sensitivity. We want to be a bridge between languages, cultures, and voices, offering classes, workshops, and activities that connect language learning with life, art and culture.
Corporate values
The values that shape how we teach at ELEMENT
At ELEMENT, everything we do is grounded in a deep belief in creativity as the foundation for learning. We foster language learning in a collaborative, creative environment where every student is seen, heard, and supported.

Creativity as a foundation
We believe that learning a language is a creative act. Creativity, imagination, intuition, and personal expression are central to the learning process.

Sensitivity
At ELEMENT, teaching is rooted in care. We respect each student’s rhythm, background, and emotional process. Learning should never feel violent.

Humanity
Communication matters more than flawless accuracy. First, expression. Then refinement. Always understanding.

Language as a living experience
Spanish is not only studied, it is lived. Through conversation, listening, writing, and real-life contexts, language becomes part of the student’s everyday experience.

Aesthetics that educate
Form matters. Visual materials, color, texts, and atmosphere are also pedagogical tools. Beauty supports attention, depth, and learning.

Depth in unhurried learning
We do not promise fast fluency. We offer meaningful, conscious, and sustainable learning processes over time.

Adults as creative subjects
Our students are not passive beginners. They are adults with inner worlds, life experience, and a voice of their own. Learning is a dialogue.
Logo concept
A symbol built from creativity, flow, and clarity
ELEMENT’S logo is the result of combining three visual elements that represent the essence of our brand. The feather symbolizes creativity and the ability to transform ideas into meaningful concepts. The ink line represents the flow of communication—how ideas move, connect, and evolve. Finally, the wide and readable typography reflects clarity, accessibility, and confidence in every message we create. Together, these elements form an identity that embodies ELEMENT’S mission: turning ideas into clear, impactful communication.
